Harvey Nichols were keen to expand their share of the growing market for exclusive hampers and luxury food products. Every year they produce a mail order Christmas hamper brochure and web site, aimed at both new and existing Harvey Nichols customers.The brochure has to enhance and support the parent brand, whilst at the same time clearly position the Christmas hampers offer with target audiences ranging from typical Harvey Nichols customers to corporate businesses.
The brief was very clear – celebrate the iconic black and white Harvey Nichols imagery but bring out the warmth and welcome of the festive season. We felt this called for more than a series of hamper photographs, so we asked the UK's best known food and drink writers 'What makes your Christmas perfect?
The answers provided the perfect creative platform for the first of our hampers brochures for Harvey Nichols. The strength of the idea meant that it was extended into a full christmas food campaign, both in-store and online.The success of the brochure has meant that we've been commissioned to produce their christmas campaign since, with the following year's brochure featuring a 'snuffling reindeer'.
